Virat Kohli’s magnificent innings were an amazing show of cricketing skill that led India to a win against Bangladesh in the ongoing World Cup in 2023. India easily beat Pakistan by seven wickets in Pune on Thursday, thanks in large part to the batsman’s 48th century.

Kohli’s unbeaten hundred was a big part of India’s fourth straight World Cup win, keeping their perfect record in the event. With more than eight overs to spare, the hosts beat Bangladesh’s score of 257, ending the match at 261-3.

Kohli played great at bat, facing 97 deliveries and hitting six fours and four sixes to make his innings even better. Kohli’s consistent form was shown by this century, which was his third score over fifty in the event. His previous scores of 85 not out and 55 not out in recent games against Australia and Afghanistan showed how important he was to India’s victory.

Kohli showed off his skill at the end of the game by hitting a six off of spinner Nasum Ahmed when he only needed three runs to finish his hundred. India’s huge win not only strengthened their position in the World Cup, but it also showed how good Kohli is as a leader and at hitting the ball.

Unfortunately for Bangladesh, this is their third loss in four games, making it very hard for them to make the semi-finals. India plays New Zealand in Dharamsala on Sunday in their quest for a third World Cup title. On Tuesday in Mumbai, Bangladesh plays South Africa in a very important match.

India is clearly the best at cricket, and Virat Kohli’s amazing hundred sets the stage for an exciting adventure in the rest of the World Cup.
